Questions buyers ask before ordering
What is your MOQ for OEM / private label kitchen knives?
For existing designs with your logo, MOQ starts from 300–500 pieces per model. Custom handle tooling or exclusive blade profiles usually start from 1,000–2,000 pieces. Knife sets can be mixed to reach quantity.
How long do samples and production take?
Samples of existing designs ship in 7–10 days; custom samples take 12–20 days. Mass production is normally 30–45 days after sample and packaging approval.
Which steels and hardness do you offer?
3Cr13, 5Cr15MoV, German 1.4116, 7Cr17MoV, 9Cr18MoV, VG10 and 10Cr15CoMoV Damascus. Hardness is set by steel and use, typically HRC 52–61, and verified by Rockwell testing on every batch.
Can you match a competitor's knife or my own design?
Yes. Send a sample, drawing or reference photos and we will quote the closest existing design or develop new tooling for an exclusive product.
What certificates and tests can you provide?
amfori BSCI social audit report (SGS-monitored, valid to May 2026), GB 4806.9 food-contact test report for kitchen shears and FCC Part 15B for electric kitchen tools. Product tests for LFGB / FDA food contact, hardness, sharpness and salt-spray corrosion. Third-party inspection before shipment is welcome.
What are your payment and shipping terms?
T/T 30% deposit with balance before shipment, L/C for larger orders. We ship FOB Guangzhou / Shenzhen, CIF or DDP by sea, and by air or courier for samples and urgent runs.
